I'm always on the search for new children's music - especially albums that can be enjoyed by both children
and the adults in their lives! Check out a few of the more recent additions to the Juvenile Music Collection at the
Corvallis-Benton County Public Library.
Caspar Babypants is one of my personal favorites for early childhood music. Chris Ballew (formerly of the band Presidents of the United States of America) has a great voice that definitely has child and adult appeal. If you're new to Caspar Babypants, you'll also want to check out the album Here I Am!
Laurie Berkner has been a professional musician and a favorite of kids for awhile now. If you haven't listened to the Laurie Berkner Band, check out this "best of" album! My personal favorites are "Moon Moon Moon" and "Song In My Tummy."
A great compilation of silly songs by classic children's musicians: Raffi, Dan Zanes, Taj Mahal, Shelly Duvall, Cheech Marin, Buckwheat Zydeco, and many talented others.
Check out these, too:
