I love the simple design, imaginative concepts, and bright colors that make up Craig Frazier's books. Two new books by Craig Frazier have recently joined the picture book collection of the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library - Bee and Bird and Lots of Dots.
Bee and Bird is a wordless picture book depicting the adventurous journey of a bumblebee and bird. If you're curious what this looks like, take a look at the video Craig Frazier created for the release of his book:
The video is set to the music of CAN from the '70s.
Pick a beautiful, simple shape - the circle or dot - and look around. Where can you find dots? Places you'd expect - like a ball, wheels or a bubble - and places you might not have considered (flowers, buttons, a stoplight, stars at night, butterflies, eggs on your breakfast plate). You get the idea...now check out the book! Take your own shape walk with your child and notice all of the different shapes you see. Pair Lots of Dots with Tana Hoban's books for a shape-filled storytime.

Your family will receive a Curious George gameboard to record each day you read with your child.
Receive a sticker for each day you and your child read together!
When your child completes the gameboard, stop by the library for a certificate and prize! This year's prize is a $3.00 coupon to the Corvallis and Albany Farmers' Market.
